Green Growth Best Practices Network Website Launched

The move to green growth is fundamental to tackling the increasing problem of climate change, while protecting and enhancing economic and social development. It provides a compelling vision to build political support, achieve practical results and transform the political economy to overcome barriers and vested interests. The Green Growth Best Practice Project (GGBP) is a global network of practitioners and policy makers that identifies and shares best practices of green growth planning and implementation from around the world. The GGBP aims to address this by ensuring relevant, high-quality; fact-based analysis and best practice assessments are made available and used to guide policymakers, practitioners and other multipliers such as international organizations and development banks in their planning and delivery. The initiative will focus its outreach primarily on developing country audiences.

The GGBP is encouraging interested parties to join the expert network to receive draft results and to learn about outreach opportunities.
